Shin Pain 3
I go to circuit training 3 times a week which involves lots of different exercises and running. When I start running, my muscles on the insides of my shins become quite painful. It is sore nearly all the way from just below my knees to my ankles. on a bad day, it can stop me doing other exercises too. is there anything I can do to stop this? an answer would be much appreciated.
Dear Jill, Your symptoms may be related to the biomechanics of your feet and you would benefit from some advice on trainers. I would suggest that you find your nearest running shoe specialist and get them to assess your foot type. I would also recommend that you consult your local sports physiotherapist as there may be issues with your control of your lower limbs during impact exercise.
