STYLE – These were not tight cycling-type running shorts, but not the baggy variety either – they were somewhere between the two which I liked. I liked the wide waistband and the fact you could pull it tighter with the drawstring tie to adjust the waist fitting. The looser fit around the leg meant they did not ride up when running. If anything I would have preferred the leg to be ever so slightly longer. You can never have enough pockets in running gear for valuables, gels etc, and there were three in these shorts. Score 4/5. COMFORT – Extremely comfortable. Felt good the moment I put them on and fitted nicely around the waist and they were not too tight around the leg. I felt comfortable running in them too; tested on a short treadmill run and a longer 8+ mile run and no rubbing from seams. Score 5/5

BREATHABILITY – Excellent wicking qualities. Light, stretchy material, which dried very quickly (tested in the rain!). Score 5/5

QUALITY– Good quality fabric and extremely well finished off. Score 5/5

COLOUR – I really liked the Black and Crimson colour-way; quite striking without being too bold. Score 5/5

OVERALL – As a person who does not normally wear shorts for running I could easily become converted. I will definitely give these a go in the warmer summer months. Score 5/5
