PRODUCT REVIEW – Nike Womens Lunar Elite + White/Pink by Ashleigh R4W member CUSHIONING – Good cushioning without feeling too soft. Score 4/5

COMFORT – comfortable for sport, after a while though feet felt hot, trainers not as breathable as others. Score 4/5

GRIP/RESPONSIVENESS – Excellent grip when running, feel confident with the trainers responsiveness!! Score 5/5

STABILITY – Good Stability. Score 4/5

OVERALL – Light weight yet very good for running gives excellent grip, only negative is that the trainers needs to be a little more breathable – feet felt very hot after wearing them for a while.  But I would buy them!!! Score 4/5

PRODUCT REVIEW – Nike Womens Lunar Elite + White/Orange by Victoria R4W member CUSHIONING – They felt very ‘flat’ – almost as though I was running in plimsoles! Not as much height in the heel as my regular shoe, which was made more obvious by the fact I am a heel striker. They are probably better suited to mid foot or toe strikers. Score 2/5

COMFORT – No rubbing at all, very light (80g per shoe less than my current shoe) Score 4/5

GRIP/RESPONSIVENESS –Fine for road running, not so good on off road paths and trails. And come to think of it, running in them in the rain, when the roads were greasy after the dry spell, I didn’t feel confident in their grip. Score 3/5

STABILITY – The blurb states that these are for runners with a ‘neutral gait or mild to moderate overpronation.’ I am a moderate overpronator and they were not great for me. They did not feel supportive and I would not want to wear them over long distances. Score 2/5

OVERALL – These are Marmite shoes in terms of looks! Love ’em or hate ’em but there is no ignoring them! I’ve avoided Nikes for years – they have become very much a fashion rather than a sports brand in my mind, so I was looking forward to seeing what these shoes were like. This was a reminder for me of why one should buy shoes from a good independent running shop. The shoes may be described as being ideal for a certain gait, but until you try them on and get on a treadmill you can’t really tell! Score 2½/5
