PRODUCT REVIEW – Nike Air Pegasus

By Carol

Cushioning– Felt very light, cushioning good. Score.5/5

Comfort– Only discomfort related to stability. Score 2/5

Grip/Responsiveness – Gripped surface well, although I didn’t use inwet weather. Score 5/5

Stability– I overpronate slightly on my right foot and these shoes did not provide sufficient support for me, although fine on left foot! Score 2/5

OVERALL I think for someone needing a neutral shoe these would be very suitable – obviously an excellent brand, look good and would appeal to R4W members who might prefer their running shoes to look a bit more feminine! Score 3/5

Nike Lady Percept Road Running Shoe. – A new women’s only shoe providing the ultimate in fit and feel. This neutral cushioning shoe features Nike’s signature DFT Dynamic Fit Technology which allows the foot to expand naturally during exercise and prevents blisters, bunions and corns caused while running. PRODUCT REVIEW – Nike Lady Air Zoom Percept Road Running Shoe

By Tanya

Cushioning –  I’m not sure about this as the cushioning is fine but they don’t have as ‘bouncy’ a feel as my other ones I use for running.I have not suffered any pains since wearing them. Score. 4/5

Comfort – I found this shoe very comfortable from the first time I wore it. No ‘wearing in’ was required. I have a wide neutral foot with a bunion(!!) but this shoe didn’t feel tight or restrict movement of my toes which happens with some shoes. The top has a soft, comfortable feel to it. Score5/5

Grip/Responsiveness– This aspect seems to be fine even in wet weather. The only reason I haven’t given it a 5 is because I mainly do road or pavement running so haven’t test edit on a trail or other surface. Score4/5

Stability – The shoes felt very stable and my feet well supported. The base of the shoe is very firm but doesn’t restrict movement. Score 5/5

OVERALL –   I really liked this shoe and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another pair. The colour scheme is silver and pale blue which Ilike. They felt fine from the first run were as others I’ve had have been a bit stiff for a couple of weeks. They are a snug fit, making my foot feel supported but comfortable too. They are an excellent shoe for a wide neutral foot. Score 5/5
