New Balance – NBX Cushioning WR758CU

A neutral trainer built on our ACTEVA™ LITE midsole to provide the runner a light responsive, cushioned ride. This shoe uses N-ERGY and ABZORB® cushioning for maximum comfort WR758CU (White/Blue) ACTEVA LITE Premium lightweight midsole material which offers superior cushioning and a lower rate of compression set. 12% lighter than ACTEVA and 24% lighter than C-CAP.

N-ERGY A resilient engineered elastomer designed to provide shock absorption and responsiveness for the optimal ride. ABZORB FL Abzorb® FL Abzorb® cushioning is the New Balance proprietary basic cushioning compound. This foam-based polymer works by dispersing the forces out from the point of impact and reducing the shock that is transferred through the shoe and up into the leg and body (this type of shock is sometimes responsible for heel, ankle, and even back pain). Shoes featuring Abzorb® FL (Full-Length) have an entire midsole made of the foam-based Abzorb® cushioning compound.

CUSHIONING  -. Cushioning on this shoe was excellent. Score 5/5

COMFORT – Very comfortable, lightweight shoe, with support just where you need it. Score 4/5

GRIP/RESPONSIVENESS – I gave the grip a good test over the icy roads, with all the bad weather we have been having and the grip was really good did not have to alter my stride at all. Score 5/5

STABILITY – Very stable shoe even after some long runs.  Score 4/5

OVERALL – Having never worn New Balance before I found them to be a great shoe overall, they offered me the right combination of cushioning and support, very nice to run in and I liked the design of the laces. Score 5/5
