Caveman’s Chocolate Bar
Proving paleo doesn’t mean plain

The Paleo Diet has been one of the most popular diets to hit the UK in decades and, with many nutritionists singing its praises, has proved to be more than just a fad. Based around eating unprocessed, basic foods, which would have been available to our caveman ancestors, the diet allows for most kinds of meat and veg, but for those with a more sweet tooth there isn’t room for any processed sugar, sweets or chocolate. This doesn’t have to mean the end to treats or desserts however, as The Primal’s Kitchen’s new snack bar proves…

The new Hazlenut and Cocoa Bar from The Primal Kitchen, aims to offer a tasty paleo treat and prove that you can still eat simple, raw, natural foods and indulge your taste buds at the same time.
The brainchild of leading nutritionist Suzie Walker, the new cold-pressed bars are handmade in the UK and contain just 6 ingredients – hazelnuts, dates, almonds, almond oil, organic and fair trade cocoa powder and natural vanilla. The bars are free of grains, gluten, refined sugar, soy, vegetable oil and of course any kind of additive, preservative, flavouring or colouring. Just simple and tasty high quality ingredients jam packed into a bar.
The indulgent bars hope to not only fill the void left by chocolate and other snack bars for those following the paleo diet, but show everyone that unprocessed foods are often the tastiest.

The Primal Kitchen bars (which are also available in three other flavours – Coconut & Macadamia, Almond & Cashew and Brazil Nut & Cherry) cost just £1.49 each and are available from Ocado, Superdrug, Tesco, leading health stores, selected CrossFit Boxes and gyms and www.theprimalkitchen.co.uk (where you’ll also find further information).
