Like all OOFOS products, the OOmg shoes feature a patented footbed design that cradles the arches and supports the feet, combined with a super shock absorbing sole made from a proprietary material called OOfoam, that absorbs 37% more impact than traditional footwear.
The new closed-toe, closed-back shoes will launch in two colours (black and grey) and feature a 4-way stretch mesh upper that conforms to the foot for comfort while also allowing the foot to move naturally to enhance the recovery process. A stretchable strap provides additional style and function across the top of the shoe to add support without binding.
Starting at £110 (RRP) for the low and £120 (RRP) for the high, the new OOmg shoes will be available from September 2017 in women's sizes online at oofos.co.uk and selected retailers while stocks last. Men's sizes will be available from 2018.
OOFOS OOmg features include:
OOfoam technology – soles which absorb 37% more impact than regular running/training shoes.
Patented footbed design - that cradles your arches, reduces stress on sore feet, knees and backs and allows you to move more naturally.
Comfort – OOFOS shoes are extremely comfortable. Providing much needed support and stress relief for tired feet and aiding the recovery process.
Running4Women Review the OOFOS - They feel like you are walking on air after a run. They are so comfortable. I’m not injured but I’m certain that they would alleviate any niggly foot pain after a long run as they feel great on your feet. Its nice having a closed toe shoe variety to add to the OOFOS slip on range. Highly recommend.
About OOFOS: Boston based OOFOS began as a team of footwear veterans — friends dating back to the athletic footwear and running shoe boom of the '70s and '80s. Brought together by a desire to fill a need for footwear that could help fitness enthusiasts recover from repeated workouts on hard surfaces. Stores are filled with athletic shoes designed to offer rebound and energy return — shoes that spring you forward when you're exercising. What was missing was a material that could do the opposite: actually absorb shock after a workout. Two and a half years of tireless development later, we had a breakthrough on our hands. Our revolutionary OOfoam technology combined with a biomechanically engineered foot bed to create OOFOS: footwear that can truly make your hard-working feet and body feel better. Our unique OOfoam is designed to absorb 37% more impact than traditional footwear, relieving stress to the feet and body while helping you recover faster.
