Well i have been training when i can fit it around the children, but i started on the run/walk programme and have found that really useful, I'm up to 15 minute run 2/3 times a week. Race for life is in July should be up for the 3 miles by then.

Hi Rebecca,

How are you getting on? I'm also managing to get out 2/3 times a week for 15 minutes, but it's hard fitting it in around family and home.  Hope Race for life goes well, I haven't signed up for a race yet – maybe I ought to to get my motivation going.

Hi Linda,

Yes sign your self up to a race, gives you something to aim for. Race for life next week, managed 3 runs last week all about 15mins with a 5 min warm up.  Really looking forward to being involved in a race.

Well race for life completed, nice to run in a race, thinking what to go for next now, might do an 8k or 10k, just have to fit more training in which is not always easy around the kids, hence the reason i have not been on the forum for a while. Well raining for us today hope this is not what is in store for us while the kids are off school !!!!!!
