Hi I have been running for the past year and have run up to half marathon.  Over the past 2 years I have lost 7 stone but still have a further 2 stone to loose.  Recently I have only been running 5ks and want to build my mileage back up but am struggling with what is the right way to fuel runs and continue to loose weight.  Please help xx

Hi Maria,

that is a tremendous achievement – congratulations – now for that last 2 stone. To increase your mileage you will of course need to increase your food intake, but as long as you keep to a normal healthy diet such as vegetables, fruit, lean meat plus the necessary carbohydrates you should be fine. There are some good articles here which should help you – just go to "Health" and then "Nutrition". There are also some good articles and links to others under "startin Outg" then "Weight Loss Exercise"

Hope it goes well, keep in touch.

Peter
