Hello :)

Hello everyone.  I've just started doing the NHS C25K podcasts having never run in my life!

I've lost 40lbs with Weight Watchers over the last 15 weeks without doing any exercise and the loss has slowed down over the holiday so I have decided to start running to try and boost it.  Then I surprised myself by actually enjoying it!

    Hi Helen

I started running in January with the NHS podcasts too. Lost no weight whatsoever but feel much healthier.  I'm now doing the 5K+ podcasts but getting a bit bored with them now although my pace has gone up to 10 min miles (well chuffed as I'm 48).  Hoping now to move on and run for longer distances.  Keep it up.

Hello, I'm Lesley and I am so impressed with you all. I have just finished Week 5 of C25K and am starting to notice a wee bit of progress. I love reading about how real runners are getting on - I still feel like a bit of a fraud putting on my nice trainers!
