Hello Ladies

Hi everyone - when are you all doing your 10K races? I was hoping to do one this month but I haven't signed up for one yet! I was looking on Runners World as they have lots coming up...I feel like I need something to motivate me to get out in the cold! :-)

Good Luck Sandra - are you following a training plan? I was following one which I found on the Zest Magazine website, found it easy to follow and stick to. I did the Windsor 8K last month - it was first ever running race and I loved it - I was nervous at first but once I got going, the atmosphere carried me! There's a couple of 10ks around Richmond this month which I might try and get in for!

Thanks Kate, I am looking forward to it (I think). Great Julie hope you have a good time.

Not following a training plan really, try to run 3 to 4 miles three times on weekdays then do 5 to 6 miles on Saturday or Sunday.

    Hi Sandra,

that is really impressive for your first race. I did not break 60 minutes in my first 10k!
